As members, we sometimes ask ourselves questions like: when should we mow the lawn to preserve the peace and quiet? How to dispose of garbage/recycling? What to do with fallen leaves in autumn? Composting?
What happens if I need to receive a delivery?
Since we have several new members and more and more deliveries, the reception team would like to remind you of a few important points concerning these deliveries.
Amazon and other parcels
Please pick them up quickly to avoid clutter.
Bulky boxes, furniture, etc.
It is important to notify reception before the scheduled delivery date and to collect them on the same day.
Restaurant deliveries
Please arrive at reception a little in advance so that you are ready to receive and pay for your order. It’s also helpful if you give your name when you call them.
Delivery to your property (e.g. materials)
It is important to notify reception before the scheduled delivery date, and you (or a designated person) must be present and contactable at the time of delivery.
With few exceptions, we do not allow suppliers to travel unaccompanied. When they arrive, we’ll call you to escort them from the pool to your property (and back again).
- This allows drivers to avoid getting lost, driving too fast or in the wrong places.
- Above all, it prevents us from becoming the entertainment for their happy hours or, worse still, their social media… Naturism is a source of curiosity for many, and cell phones make it really easy to photograph or film.
Thank you very much for your usual collaboration
Waste management at La Pommerie
- As Arnaud mentioned at the opening dinner, a document has been developed to show you where and how to dispose of your waste of all kinds (garbage, recycling, dead leaves, BBQs, etc.). Vous le trouverez en pièce jointe en PDF.
- We hope you will read it and keep it for future reference.
- If you have any doubts about an item that is not listed, please contact reception rather than leaving it, possibly in the wrong place.

Service internet
After a great deal of work, investment and negotiation, fiber optics have been connecting the inn to the road since 2021! This means that the main entrance to the signal is no longer by air.
What’s more, throughput has been increased to limit slowdowns during peak periods!
Following these improvements, we’ve decided to put an end to the purchase of cards, subscriptions and device limitations, as we’d like to give access across the board to everyone, to limit management and restrictions.
We believe that the Internet is becoming as essential a service as electricity or water. Pricing will include internet service. You’ll be able to have as many connected devices as you like.
If you want an even better signal, you can have La Pommerie install an outdoor antenna (at minimal cost), which, when connected to a router, avoids the “metal cage” of your caravan and reduces the impact of trees between your property and the local antenna.
Setting up your router: Internet at La Pommerie works very well, except sometimes for those whose neighbors don’t have their router connected to channel 1 at a maximum field strength of 20 MHz. Check your routers.
Leaf and Branch Days
Video produced on composting at La Pommerie, for Leaf Day.
Reminder: Don’t forget to empty your plastic bag, or better still, use paper bags!
With the beginning of November comes Leaf and Branch Days ” see calendar.
Here’s a short video to remind us of the instructions for disposing of our leaves.
We suggest you don’t collect all the leaves on your property. Remove the main part and mow a good portion that remains. This will enrich the soil and reduce your workload.
Electricity is left on your property to allow you to use your electric mowers.
You are responsible for bringing your bags of leaves to the “Compost”. Although we try to support you in this task, La Pommerie does not offer a leaf-bag collection service. This is your chance to help each other.
Please note that under no circumstances should plastic bags be left in the compost.
Branches should be left at the “Fires”.
Beware invasive plant: Japanese knotweed
Japanese knotweed is one of the world’s most formidable and difficult to eradicate invasive alien plants.
Invasive alien plants are a threat to biodiversity: in a very short space of time, they can dominate an environment and prevent any other form of life from becoming established, rapidly destroying existing ecosystems.
Help us prevent it from establishing a significant foothold in La Pommerie!
What to do if you find some? DON’T TOUCH IT
(The smallest piece can start a new colony.)
Note its location and notify one of the Pommerie staff.
How to recognize it?
– large heart-shaped leaves
– reddish zigzag branches
– spikes of white flowers in large quantities
– bamboo-like stems
– can reach a good size (2-3m high)
– does not cause skin reactions
